From our light
Why can't we win the race?
We fall from flight

The wings break
And we fall to dust
Racing our days
To fates mercy touch

Life floods the floor
We can't win the race
To mercy's shore
Lose our place in our own fate

The world we know is gone
Can't and won't come back
We sing a mercy song
